‘PILLOWLANDO MMXI’ … Orlando’s Official 2011 International Pillow Fight Day Event
This event has now concluded. The contents of this blog remain to allow an archive history to be tracked online as well as provide completed links for those who find themselves here through search engines.
UPDATED: April 2, 2011 9:49am
At 12:00 AM this morning, right on time as promised, the location for PILLOWLANDO MMXI was revealed!
This year, the battle will take place at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Site at the corner of S. Orange Ave. and W. South St. in Downtown Orlando! http://j.mp/pmmxi_map (Google Maps).
Assuming that the Center has its groundbreaking sometime soon, this location will be made inaccessible for the next 2-3 years, so let’s send it off properly – with a massive urban pillow fight!
Be sure to check the Facebook Event Page (http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=190668957629271) for details on directions to the location and to refresh yourselves on the rules, which are as simple as always.
If you’re on Twitter, make sure to @DrPhillipsCtr before, during or after the event. Foursquarers, you can check in here:http://foursquare.com/venue/12690110
Also! Make sure you don’t arrive more than a few minutes early and wait for the signal, which remains… “Pillow fight!”
See you all very soon.

I’ll be there like I was last year and I’m gonna take no prisoners!
Seriously, this is like a major blast. Should be longer than 30 minutes.
